🎉 Introduction:
 As part of José Cuervo's Day of the Dead campaign, an exciting Instagram filter was created, offering users a mini-game experience. In this project, my focus was on designing the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) to ensure an immersive and enjoyable gaming experience.
🔥 Challenge:
 The main challenge was to design an interactive Instagram filter that would captivate users and engage them in a thematically relevant experience for the Day of the Dead. The goal was to create an addictive game that maintained the festive spirit while offering meaningful challenges.
💡 Proposal:
 The proposal involved developing a Runner-style mini-game starring the cholo, represented in 3D by the design team. The idea was for users to control the cholo using head movements, collecting marigold flowers and avoiding candles in a setting inspired by the underworld and its nine levels.
🚀 Implementation:
 The filter began with an animation where the cholo appeared seated, ready to embark on the adventure in the underworld. Upon activating the filter, the cholo would start running automatically, and users had to move their heads to control his direction and avoid obstacles.
Each level of the game was marked by signs indicating the name of the corresponding level in the underworld. Users had to collect marigold flowers to earn points, with pink flowers granting extra points, while colliding with candles deducted points.
The objective of the game was to complete the nine levels of the underworld, each more challenging than the last. Upon completing the game, the player's score was displayed, and they were given the option to share the gameplay video on social media.
📊 Result:
 The mini-game filter was a hit among users, who enjoyed the interactive and challenging experience. The combination of Day of the Dead thematic elements with the addictive gameplay of the mini-game captured the audience's attention and generated a positive response on social media.
🎉 Conclusion:
 This project illustrates how creativity and technology can merge to create memorable and engaging brand experiences. The mini-game filter not only stood out within José Cuervo's Day of the Dead campaign but also provided users with a fun way to interact with the brand and share their experience with friends and followers on social media.
